Myelin Sheath is a substance that insulates the spinal cord. It is a white, fatty substance that surrounds and protects the nerve fibers around the spinal cord. According to the U.S. Library of Medicine, Myelin is considered an electric insulator and if the sheath deteriorates too much, then the electrical impulses end up lost between the nerves.
Why is Myelin Sheath important?
The loss of this substance is believed to cause nerve deterioration including delayed or blocked nerve direction between the brain and the dog’s body.
When this substance breaks down, it becomes harder and harder for the neural impulses to move down the spinal cord to the dog’s hind end. This glandular includes proteins thought to play a vital role in producing and restoring Myelin back to your dog’s spine. This is vital for dogs suffering from conditions such as degenerative myopathy.

New Zealand sourced Myelin Sheath (200mg Bovine Spinal Cord), Vitamin C in form of Ascorbic Acid (30mg).
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Cellulose, Magnesium, Stearate, Silicon Dioxide.
Instructions
1/8 teaspoon scoop per 20 pounds once daily. This is a minimal dosage recommendation. For critical situations, you can double or triple the dosage daily.
