I have heard of an eyedrop made with red pepper oil or perhaps it was capsasin (sp) that actually prevents and gets rid of existing cataracts. Was a bit disappointing. I have a IRISH TERRIER who is now SEVEN, she has always had weepy eyes, like little dogs sort of. Lately, she has had a grainy bump on top of her nose, I just keep scraping it off and putting cumphrey salve on it. it seems almost gone. I hardly ever bathe my dogs except in a hard rain which is about twice a year ~they the Irish Terrier and her son, both itch a lot. Also, Wookie, the Irish, all her life has occasionally puked up her dry food and she has always been very very lean but doesn’t look boney even in winter when we don’t exercise. may try colostrum. with her thick hair should I get her groomed to thin in out? she is a beautiful redest red.

    • Hi Foggy:

Thanks for sharing your story. I think it would be a very good idea to get her groomed. A good grooming can thin out the undercoat. Colostrum is very good for allergies and overall health. I advise you to include meat and steamed vegetables in with your dog’s kibble. This will be very, very beneficial as well.

Continued good luck with your beautiful red girl….
